Wildlife Management: Our ranches are designed to maintain healthy populations of whitetail deer, wild boar, and Rio Grande turkey through year-round feeding and seasonal food plots.
Hunting Setup: Feeders run year-round. Stands are set up along buffer zones, escape routes, buck bedding areas, and doe family unit trails.
The Rut: North Texas rut typically runs from mid-November to February 1st. Late December is prime for yearlings coming into heat.
Euro Mounts: Available upon request—ask your guide for details.
Thermal Rifle Rental: Likely available for hog hunts (Hog hunt only).
Scent Control: Absolutely vital. Respray every hour!
 
Hog Hunting Details:
Average Size: 250-300 lb hogs are common, but this is not an easy hunt!
Night Hunting: No lights at night, but motion detector lights are present.
Terrain: Thick and rough, no spot and stalk hunting.
License: No license or hunter safety card required for hogs.
 
Deer Hunting Details:
License Required: A deer hunting license and hunter safety card are mandatory.
Processing: If you shoot and drop a buck, drag it to the wood line and wait for hogs. Processing and shipping options are available if you fly in. Shipping options available for those who fly in.
Coolers: No walk-in coolers, but upright freezers are provided at each cabin.
Shooting Conditions: Wool blankets or heaters are recommended; buddy heaters work best in the shooting houses.
 
Other Considerations:
Tipping: Customary to tip $100 per hunter.
Hunting Gear: Don't forget scent killer spray (use every hour), rain gear, waterproof boots, camo face mask, binoculars, and window sill gun rests.
Exotics: Present on the property but not included in the hunt—do not shoot!
